Hello my name is Helen Liddle and I would like to welcome you to “Cakes By Helen”. I have always loved to bake and have been baking for as long as I can remember.
In 2000 I took the plunge and made a novelty cake for my child’s 4th birthday and have never looked back. I have made many different cakes for family and friends over the years and following the birth of our fourth child I am now a full time mum at home. With much encouragement from family and friends “Cakes by Helen” was launched. Please visit the gallery to see examples of the cakes I have made over the years.
Some of the cakes I have made have been designed from a picture in a book whilst others have been created specifically with the recipient in mind. The combination of a delicious home made cake and the versatility of the icing make for endless possibilities to create the perfect cake. I have personal experience of creating a special cake for an individual who has a special diet and know how important it is that their cake not only caters for their special diet but looks great too.
As every cake is unique the cakes are priced on an individual basis after consultation.
